I was working on a small series along with the separate "raven" series I am doing. This one is the first in a series of "mirage" paintings. I love the blurry effect and the illusion it creates. I happen to be partial to Clint Eastwood so I used his image but set him back further into the scene. I have also added a completely different background and made him blurry and indistinct. Hope western fans out there will like this one. Thanks and enjoy!

Hello. Here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Colorado in the Four Corners area. I have always loved to draw since I was a child. It wasn't until 2015 that I decided to try painting. I took a class with Edward Aldrich an excellent wildlife artist who specializes in painting with oil. After that I couldn't stop painting and have enjoyed it immensely for the past 3 years. I started painting things I saw in the nearby area. It was a little of everything, old cars, farms, cows and horses. Soon after, I tried painting landscapes. Unfortunately, I realized how many people were painting landscapes. I really wanted to stand out and be different and to do that I decided to paint nighttime scenes.
