Yet another in my raven series. It took me a while to get the colors to come out the way I wanted. I made the rock in the foreground up completely. So, this was an interesting painting for me. I wasn't sure if it was going to work but somehow the scene came out quite well. It is on canvas board and I already have it framed and varnished. Enjoy!
Hello. Here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Colorado in the Four Corners area. I have always loved to draw since I was a child. It wasn't until 2015 that I decided to try painting. I took a class with Edward Aldrich an excellent wildlife artist who specializes in painting with oil. After that I couldn't stop painting and have enjoyed it immensely for the past 3 years. I started painting things I saw in the nearby area. It was a little of everything, old cars, farms, cows and horses. Soon after, I tried painting landscapes. Unfortunately, I realized how many people were painting landscapes. I really wanted to stand out and be different and to do that I decided to paint nighttime scenes.
